Podcast: What We’ve Learned from Each Other

Finn and I have, finally, restarted our podcast.  You can listen to (and watch) our latest episode, here.

Since the last episode in late September, I lost my voice after surgery, I moved, Finn found a path to finishing his Doctorate, I visited him, he visited me, good grief we’ve done everything but add a dang near new member to the family.  So, my “finally” is meant.

As a recap, we started this podcast back when I lived on the road, as a way to do a long-term project together. We talk on the phone once a week and we watch TV together online a second day each week, but none of that captures the camaraderie that comes from brainstorming and problem-solving together.  Once, when we were walking and talking on the beach, we were talking about how much we enjoy taking with each other, and the idea of a podcast where we have fun talking together about how much we enjoy talking together was born.

Each time we make one of these episodes, we get better at one part or another. I think I’ve stopped fidgeting on air, and Finn has improved the intro.

This episode lasts about a half an hour, so it’s easier to digest.

If you’re not used to listening to podcasts, you don’t have to open it on a player; you can watch ours on YouTube. If you are used to it, then you know you can do other things, like cook or drive or whatnot, while we goof off in the background.

If you give us a listen, lemme know!

This week we talk about lessons we’ve learned from each other. Past episodes are about:

  • June (when was that?), 2025: Eat more food and hairgate
  • Sept 7, 2025: Tattoos and growing up in nature
  • Sept 28, 2025: Our music interests

They’re all in the playlist linked at the top of this post. Thanks for your patience as Finn and I goof off together!
